The Silence Proshell Trousers are a pair of 3-layered shell trousers with fully taped seams and a waterproof Hypershell® Pro membrane, ensuring complete protection from rain and moisture. With their 4-way stretch, the trousers are designed to provide maximum comfort and silence. The ventilation zippers at the thighs ventilate and give incredible comfort. They’ve got pre-shaped knees and an adjustable waist with Velcro for maximum comfort and are DWR-treated for enhanced water repellency. The lower legs are expandable with zippers for an optimal fit over ski- or walking boots.

I haven't had a chance yet to try these in the elements, but they have past a shower test, and the quality of the construction is excellent. I'm able to fit them over a pair of jeans, and the velcro straps on the side allow for adjusting the waist for layers that are (or aren't) worn underneath, plus I'm really happy with the side vents. They certainly seem built to last.
