A bit too thin!
Nice option to be able to do this with some pants but pads are not for heavy work. Might be ok for hiking but not if you plan to be on them for long periods like if you want to work on them. Setting up a tent yes, fixing the driveway kerb stones no!

Comfortable
These knee pads fit well in the trousers. They’re comfortable to wear and are not too thick so you don’t really feel them.

Just padfect
Good knee pads that don’t add much bulk to the knee area. This is my 5th pair.

Effective & Comfortable
Look a little thin but padding is surprisingly effective when kneeling, even on rough gravel, and slim design means they are easy to install and remove.
Lack of bulk means they are hardly noticeable when walking too.
