Jackets adapted for skiing and snowboarding have a wide range of uses and are suitable for many intense activities during the winter thanks to their excellent breathability. They also have smart functions like helmet-compatible hoods, ski pass pockets and storm collars. Some of our models also have Recco® reflectors that help the rescue service find missing people outdoors.
Our ski jackets will keep you warm and dry even during high-intensity activities. They are often more breathable, lightweight and designed for movement but can of course still be suitable for everyday use as well. Winter jackets are often more insulated and therefore warmer. They are more suitable for activities with low intensity or everyday use since they have extra insulation.
It is not always easy to choose which ski jacket to buy when there are so many to choose from. Think about what kind of skier you are and what demands that put on the jacket. Are you a fast skier who loves to challenge the slopes and drive hard off-piste, or do you prefer to have a nice day outside and barbecue over an open fire? For high intensity activities it's important to choose a flexible jacket with adequate breathability to make sure you keep dry from the inside out. For activities with a lower intensity it’s important to have a jacket with enough insulation to keep you warm. The fit of the jacket is also important. A more relaxed fit allows air to circulate and makes room for both base layer and mid layer, while a regular fit in stretchy materials allows for easier movement. Our ski jackets have a technical membrane making them resistant to both water and wind, which is important for a good day on the slopes. Some other great functions to keep in mind are ski pass pockets, RECCO® reflectors and ventilation zippers under the arms. Combine our ski jackets with matching ski trousers for women in fun colours.
Ski jackets must stand up to all kinds of winter weather, regardless of whether it is +5°C and rain or -30°C and a blizzard. Our ski jackets also include shell jackets adapted for high-intensity activities. When it is cold outside, we recommend that you wear one of our base layers as well as mid layers for women under the jacket that keep you warm.
